Lubadalú (Luz Achával Barral, she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona.
Mostly through drawing and sound art, she develops projects exploring the subjects of feminisms, violence against women, pleasure, love and endings, with a special interest in the creative act and the parts of it that escape control.
She’s collaborated with a variety of international projects, like Friday Late at the V&A Museum in London and the comic anthology Drawing Power : Women's Stories of Sexual Violence, Harassment, and Survival, edited by Diane Noomin. She’s had the pleasure to be in residence at Casa d’Artistes, in Menorca, and recorded and produced the No son hores podcast for Ràdio Far Menorca.
